Privacy Policy

AeDil (“we”, “us”) runs aedilapp.com, along with the other domains that redirect to it. This page explains what we collect when you create or open an AeDil page, why we collect it, and who we share it with. If anything here is unclear, get in touch.

What we collect

When you create a page, we store what you put into it:

• Your name and the name of the person the page is for.
• Your message, story timeline, and quiz question and answer, if you add one.
• Photos, voice notes, videos and music you upload or choose.
• Your email address, which we use to send you your page link and payment receipt.

When someone opens a page, we record whether they responded (for example, tapping “Yes”).

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email, phone number (optional) and message you send us.

When you browse the site, we collect usage events (such as which pages you view and which steps of the editor you complete), your browser and device type, and your approximate location based on your IP address, which we use to show prices in your currency.

What we don’t collect

We never see or store your card or UPI details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment provider, Razorpay.

How we use it

• To build, host and deliver your page.
• To process your payment and email you your link and receipt.
• To answer messages you send us.
• To understand how people use AeDil so we can fix problems and improve it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who can see your page

Anyone with your page link can open it, so share it only with people you trust. You can add a quiz lock so the reveal only plays for someone who knows the answer.

If you choose to share your page on the Wall of Love when you create it, your names and message are shown on our homepage. Your photos, voice notes and videos are not shown there, and the Wall of Love does not link to your page. If you would like your page removed from the Wall of Love, contact us.

We ask search engines not to index individual pages.

Services we rely on

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Supabase — database and file storage for your page.
• DigitalOcean — hosting for our servers.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Resend — sending emails such as your page link and receipt.
• PostHog — product analytics.
• ipapi.co — estimating your country to show the right currency.

These providers may process data outside your country.

How long we keep it

We keep your page and its content for as long as we run AeDil, so the link keeps working. Uploaded files that are no longer attached to any page are deleted automatically. Contact form messages and analytics data are kept only as long as we need them for the purposes above.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your page and its content, remove it from the Wall of Love, or tell you what information we hold about you. Contact us from the email address you used, so we can confirm the page is yours.

Children

AeDil is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
